I do not shoot for free.  I will, however, shoot for equitable trade.  That is, where there is benefit to me from the shoot as well as benefit to you.  This can and often does mean photos, particularly for a personal project I'm working on or of a style, location or theme I want to try.  I will also trade for:

• Bartered goods and/or services
• Access to unique, upscale or unusual locations to shoot
• Photo and lighting equipment I can use
• Theme park tickets or other similar trades
• Cash

My equipment, experience, talent, and time are very valuable and I will always treat them as such.  I have no time to waste with anyone who does not feel the same.

For TF shoots, this is what I provide as a standard (and I reserve the right to change this at any time):

• A proof gallery on my website with direct-from-camera images.  Nothing is allowed to be saved or redistributed from this gallery and access is limited to people directly involved with the shoot, along with any managers, agents or significant others.  Access beyond those people requires my written consent.  Failure to follow this rule will result in the immediate removal of the proof gallery.
• Edited images in an online-ready format (jpg format, high quality, 800 pixels on the long edge).  Retouching style and technique is at my sole discretion (I will consider requests but my style is my own).  Image selection is at my sole final decision, though I encourage models to request/recommend favorite images from the proof gallery.  The final number of edits is up to me but is typically 4-12 depending on the type and length of the shoot.
• Edits will be provided as soon as reasonably possible.  Typically I do a few right away (within a day or two of the shoot) and more later on after receiving proof selections from the model or other people involved in the shoot.
• Edits will be delivered by email to the address you provide at the time of the shoot.  I do not burn or mail physical discs.
• I will not provide higher resolution (print) images unless previous arrangements have been made, as this requires additional editing time and often different, more detailed techniques.  If prints are what you're looking for, I will provide a gallery on my website with edited images and prints can be ordered from there at competitive prices.  I need to know this ahead of time as it is not my usual practice.  I do this by request only.
• Edited images must be posted online as emailed to you.  Further alteration, including but not limited to cropping (especially cropping out the logo or watermark), color alteration, retouching, or special effects, is not allowed.  If you have a specific need for logo-free images (for agency purposes, for example), please ask.

Any variations or exceptions to the above policies must be in writing from me.
